The Anisa is a three piece kids abaya set: a sleeveless A-line tunic, a matching palazzo, and a white inner top worn underneath. The contrast between the white inner and the coloured tunic is the whole look, and because the inner is a separate piece she stays fully covered without a second layer of the same heavy shade. It is made in premium Nida Matte fabric, the soft matte weave we use across the collection. Nida Matte is opaque, light on the skin, drapes straight without clinging and barely creases through a full day out.

A palazzo set moves differently from a gown. There is no long hem to trip on and no fabric gathering around the ankles, which is why girls who find abayas restrictive will wear this one. Coverage is the same: the tunic falls well past the hip and the palazzo takes it to the ankle.

For a 7 or 8 year old, the 7-8 Years size at 28 inch chest and 40 inch length. Beyond those two the Anisa comes in navy blue, puce pink and silver. The inner top is white in every option, which is what creates the contrast.

How To Style It
Keep the hijab in the tunic shade so the white inner stays the only contrast. Simple flats or sandals.

- Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent; wash dark and bright shades separately for the first two or three washes
- Do not bleach and do not dry clean
- Do not wring. Press the water out gently and hang to dry in shade
- Iron on medium heat or steam, inside out
- Wash the white inner top separately from the coloured tunic and palazzo for the first two or three washes
- Hang on a wide hanger rather than folding, so the fall of the fabric is not creased
