Do not go by her regular clothing size. Measure around the fullest part of her chest with a soft tape and match that number to the chart below. Length only needs to reach the ankle. These are final garment measurements and already include wearing room.

Buying a kids white abaya for a 6 year old girl or a 5 year old, take the 5-6 Years size: 26 inch chest and 38 inch length. For a 7 or 8 year old, the 7-8 Years size at 28 inch chest and 40 inch length. An abaya for a 10 year old girl is the 9-10 Years size, 30 inch chest and 42 inch length, and this is the size parents order most often. For an 11 or 12 year old girl take 11-12 Years at 32 inch chest and 44 inch length, and for a 13 or 14 year old the 13-14 Years size at 34 inch chest and 46 inch length.

Will the white show through?
No. Our Nida Matte is fully opaque, so she does not need anything under it beyond her normal clothes.
Will it turn yellow after many washes?
Not if you wash it separately, skip chlorine bleach and dry it in shade. Yellowing almost always comes from bleach or strong sun.
Should I buy a size up?
If she is near the top of her age band, yes. The abaya is cut loose, and one size up usually lasts a full year of growth.
Is there a black version?
